Who is Kenyatta and why does she do this work?

Prior to founding TRICE OCS in 2016 and re-entering the job market, Kenyatta was in an unideal situation and was unsure on how to begin her search for employment, for career. She was in a Domestic Violence relationship experiencing physical, emotional, and financial abuse from 2001 until 2009. When she gathered the strength to leave, she was faced with the daunting task of re-entering the job market. How would she do this with an 8-year gap in work experience? Nevertheless, she reached within herself choosing to seize the day, Kenyatta was hired by a staffing agency in 2010 as a temporary employee and left as a full-time tenured employee through 2016.

The knowledge that she used to help others acquire stability for themselves and their families gave her a feeling of gratification. This led her to leave her career as a recruiter and create “TRICE Occupational Consulting Solutions” incorporating her past administration skills, passion, and expertise. A company that not only pushes you “Forward to Success”, but does so in a healthy manner for your lifestyle.

After leaving the Staffing and Recruitment Industry, Kenyatta made the decision to work as an Economic Empowerment Coordinator for a local Domestic Violence Resource Center. There she became a beacon of hope for other survivors who felt like they had nothing left to give. Empowering her clients with tools toward success in Education, Finance, Career and Business.

Overtime, she realized that she had found her passion helping others obtain stability. Kenyatta began helping those in her local community and garnered the nickname “Resume Girl”. She also assisted small businesses with the road map to building and gaining opportunity for growth.

At TRICE OCS, we provide a personable, inclusive, and empathetic experience to our clients because we understand that life happens, that barriers and roadblocks sometimes get in the way. Regardless of background or extenuating circumstances, we are prepared to work with you to remove or evade any roadblocks on your path to success!
